Who Are We?

Aromatherapy Direct was founded in 1993 by partners Mike Smithson & Shirley Tordoff.

Mike already had several years of experience with essential oils, having spent several years in the natural body products sector. The Essential Oils business is a very competitive area, and we know that we can only survive by providing the best quality products at the best possible prices. The fact that we have done so for the last 17 years, is a testimonial in itself.

 All our oils are guaranteed 100% pure and are of the highest quality and are purchased from just one or two very trusted sources only, not bought on the commodities market. Prices are kept low not by sacrificing quality, but by doing everything from bottling the oils to printing the labels "in house". We have no glossy brochures, no sales people to pay, nor do we provide expensive P.O.S. items to retailers.

 Post and Packing

 All items are sent via Royal Mail, and go first class, usually the day after the order is placed. Orders often go the same day.

All orders of  any and every value are covered by our total delivery guarantee that if for any reason in the unlikely event that once we have upgraded your order to delivered status it has not arrived we will resend the order at our expense, or provide a refund, whichever option is the most convenient for you, the customer.

 Out Of Stock Items
We do not have out of stock items. If it's listed on the website then it is in stock. In the very rare event that we are out of stock of anything, it is removed from the website immediately, so that it is not available for purchase.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. We accept most major credit cards (not Amex) via RBS Worldpay (Part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group). For your total security, all payments will be verified by Mastercard Secure Code or Verified by Visa.
PayPal is also accepted. Anyone with or without a PayPal account can choose this payment method, and they will be directed to Paypal's secure server for the final stage of checkout.
Prices are in pounds sterling and transactions will be processed using this currency. All prices are as you see them, there is no VAT to be added, and no extra post and packing charges. Subject to our minimum order, (currently £7.50),  what you see is what you pay. There are no hidden charges to be added at the final checkout.

Credit Card Security
All credit card/debit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption and sent directly to Worldpay (part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group) for the complete transaction. Your details are not held unencrypted on any site.

Our Refund Policy and Your Guarantee
Any item or items purchased from ourselves can be returned within 7 day's of receipt for a full refund of the entire purchase price, we will also refund your return postage on anything that you return.
In addition to your statutory rights which remain unaffected, we offer a 100% guarantee that any oil that fails to meet with your complete satisfaction will be replaced at any time, or your card refunded. An item can be returned at any time for any reason or for no reason whatsoever if you don't to advise us as such, wish and we agree to replace or refund you in full, including your return postage.

 Your rights to return goods are also protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm.

Your Privacy
All data on the site is secure and encoded, and we guarantee 100% that we do not lend or rent our lists out to third party's so that they may contact you.
